After each game at the National Championships, teams were asked to rate their opponent’s spirit on a scale of zero to four in a number of categories, including rules knowledge, fouls, communication and more. The scores are averaged, and the teams in the men’s, mixed and women’s divisions with the highest average scores are awarded the Team Spirit Awards.

At the 2017 National Championships, Team Spirit Awards were presented to Denver Johnny Bravo (men’s), Connecticut Metro North (mixed) and Madison Heist (women’s). Congratulations to all three teams!
