Colorado Springs, Colo. (Sept. 6, 2018) – USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States and proud member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, released today the final bid allocations from the Triple Crown Tour’s regional championship events to the 2018 National Championships.
After an exciting final weekend in the 2018 Triple Crown Tour regular season at the Pro Championships, end-of-season rankings were published today. San Francisco Revolver, Philadelphia AMP and Boston Brute Squad finished the regular season in the top spots for their respective divisions, men’s, mixed and women’s.
Teams in both the men’s and women’s divisions, New York PoNY and Boston Brute Squad, have chances to win the Triple Crown after claiming titles at the U.S. Open Club Championships and the Pro Championships. To date, only two teams have won the Triple Crown: San Francisco Revolver (2013, 2015) and Seattle Mixtape (2017).
The regional bid allocation for the 2018 National Championships, set to be held Oct. 18-21, in San Diego, Calif., is below.
