Team Biography

Seattle Underground was formed out of Seattle Viva in 2009 as a new opportunity for the growing women’s ultimate scene in the Seattle metropolitan area. We have 13 rookies mined from the motherlode of talent from the Northwest youth and college scenes, but don’t mistake this as a rebuilding year. Six different players from the original 2009 team have come back to the fold these last two years, and they bring a wealth of club experience with them.

Underground reached the National Championships in 2012 and again in 2014. This will be our third trip to Nationals, and we believe this combination of experienced legends and dynamic rookies will help us have our best showing yet!
